At our clinic in Monmouth we offer a variety of treatments to suit all of your dental needs.

A visit to the dentist nowadays should bear no resemblance to the traditional and tired stereotype of white-coated practitioners who inflict pain on frightened patients in sterile-looking rooms filled with dangerous-looking equipment.

The modern dental practice is patient-focused. That means it offers a welcoming, relaxing environment that puts its patients at ease. It means the dental team looks professional and is trained to the highest standards. It means that practitioners listen to the needs and desires of their patients and offer a range of solutions to meet them.

Fillings

Fillings are a dental restoration normally used to restore the function and integrity teeth if broken due to trauma or decay. As well as offering traditional silver Amalgam fillings, we can also use a white material called Composite. Composite is not just a private option and may be available on the NHS depending on the restoration needed.

Root Canal Therapy

Also known as Endodontics, a root canal treatment is used to treat infection in the center of the tooth. Like a filling this can be caused by external trauma or decay, as well as leaky fillings and is an alternative to an extraction, when wanting to save the tooth.

Crowns & Bridges

A dental crown is an artificial restoration used to partially/cover a tooth, restoring the size and shape of the tooth. Whereas a bridge is a restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth by joining an artificial tooth to the adjacent. Both our crowns and bridges can be made from metal, porcelain or ceramic materials; all with differing costs.

Dentures

A denture can be used to fill gaps by replacing one or multiple missing teeth (even the whole jaw), improving the appearance and aiding function. Dentures on the NHS are made of acrylic but can also be done privately, made out of chrome or flexible.

Veneers

A veneer is a thin moulding, custom-made from porcelain, which is bonded to the front surface of a tooth. Veneers are a quick and effective solution to stained, chipped, misshapen or crooked teeth. They can also be used to cover gaps in teeth where orthodontic treatment may not be suitable.

Tooth Whitening

There are many products available to whiten your teeth, which is considered a cosmetic procedure. One product on the market is called Zoom, manufactured by Philips.

Your dentist can recommend one of several Zoom treatments to whiten your teeth — from procedures completed here at the Practice to at-home solutions.

Ortho Apnea Anti-Snoring Device

An Anti-snoring device is similar in appearance to a sports mouthguard and sits over both upper and lower teeth. The difference being with the use of a metal prop the device can keep the jaw aligned in such a way that snoring no longer poses a problem. 32Co Aligners

Clear aligners are a set of plastic trays that straighten your teeth! We use computer software to make a series of these trays, which gently push your teeth into perfect alignment.

The best part? They’re almost invisible, so no one will know you’re wearing them! You can take them out to eat, drink, and brush your teeth. They’re also gentler and more comfortable than traditional braces – no wires or brackets to irritate your mouth!
